Bahamas Vacation Tips
Tip 1. Try snorkeling, SUBS, scuba diving and anything else at Stuart Coves . They are professional and reasonably prices. Dolphin encounters on Blue Lagoon are also good.
Tip 2. Gamble at Crystal Palace. Use the bus when possible as there is always a friendly face to point you in the right direction. The city bus, only a dollar, runs from 7am to 6pm. Since the islands are small, you can go anywhere on a city bus.
Tip 3. If you want dinner reservations get them early the previous day as it can be difficult to get a table for the same evening.
Tip 4. Hotel sholps are overpriced. Take a bus downtown and get things for much less. Eat all your food at the hotel, itfs not bad and will save you a lot of money!
Tip 5. The cheapest place to buy things is in the stores not from people on a public street. Don;t discuss sharks if you plan on diving, it will only put you off.
Tip 6. Donft use the taxi services. They all have their own price and they are all expensive. Take the bus for a dollar.
Tip 7. Do day excursions and you may see dolphins and sting rays.
Tip 8. Bring insect spray, you will need it. Have a change of clothes and bathing suit ready upon arrival. Barter hard at the markets!
