Bahamas Vacation Tips Tip 1. Try snorkeling, SUBS, scuba diving and anything else at Stuart Coves . They are professional and reasonably prices. Dolphin encounters on Blue Lagoon are also good. Tip 2. Gamble at Crystal Palace. Use the bus when possible as there is always a friendly face to point you in the right direction. The city bus, only a dollar, runs from 7am to 6pm. Since the islands are small, you can go anywhere on a city bus. Tip 3. If you want dinner reservations get them early the previous day as it can be difficult to get a table for the same evening. Tip 4. Hotel sholps are overpriced. Take a bus downtown and get things for much less. Eat all your food at the hotel, it�fs not bad and will save you a lot of money! Tip 5. The cheapest place to buy things is in the stores not from people on a public street. Don;t discuss sharks if you plan on diving, it will only put you off. Tip 6. Don�ft use the taxi services. They all have their own price and they are all expensive. Take the bus for a dollar. Tip 7. Do day excursions and you may see dolphins and sting rays. Tip 8. Bring insect spray, you will need it. Have a change of clothes and bathing suit ready upon arrival. Barter hard at the markets!
